To mark 40 years of Artsadmin’s significant contribution to the Arts it was proposed to install an approximately eight meters high rotating sign saying Art on the highest roof point of their building, Toynbee Studios. The idea is to celebrate the substantial creative support that Artsadmin has and will continue to deliver, as well as to mark the importance of Art as an energising, gifting, dynamic force, countering the usual sapping, draining message of consumption that is implicit in almost all large-scale signage.
