Project name : Wellington Square

Location: London/UK

Collaboration with: Peter Neal

At the beginning of the 21st century cities throughout the world, have embarked on the renaissance of their public realm. Central London due to its high property values and lack of leadership is yet to commit to significant and ambitious new spaces at its heart. Wellington Square could become such a new public space and cultural forum, bridging divides, uniting disparate elements and encouraging social exchange. Defining a clear connection between St. James's / Green Park and Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens this new Green square, could deliver a new topographical landform aligned as a new green pedestrian corridor, a continuation of the classical axis of the Constitution Hill next to Buckingham Palace.
